NDT dancers raised 35.000 euros at the Switch benefit
NDT dancers raised 35.000 euros at the Switch benefit. This year the beneficiary is a research collaboration in Myanmar of Medical Action Myanmar (MAM, Myanmar) and the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development (AIGHD, the Netherlands) with support from ArtAids (Spain). The collaboration aims to improve the treatment for Aids and HIV which is currently offered in Myanmar. Next to financial support, the dancers will give dance and art classes at the MAM clinic and surrounding community this summer.
This winter our dancers Casia and Myrthe will travel together with people from AIGHD and ArtAids to Myanmar to visit the health clinics there. A documentary maker will be coming with them to document to whole trip.
