NDT and Sharon Eyal Dance (S-E-D) have joined forces for this expanded interpretation of Into the Hairy (2023). Originally created for 7 dancers, the piece now brings together two companies in an expanded cast of more than 20 dancers – which was awarded in October 2025 with a Swan award. Into the Hairy tests the limits of contemporary dance by connecting classical dance with the underground club culture.

Since 2020, we have also offered our performances online. We do this through livestreams, allowing you to watch in real time what is happening in our theatre in The Hague, and through recordings that are developed in great detail. These recordings are created in close collaboration with the choreographers.
Previously, we presented works by, among others: Marco Goecke, Johan Inger, Sharon Eyal, Marne van Opstal and Imre van Opstal, Nadav Zelner, Jermaine Spivey, Jiří Kylián, Hofesh Shechter, Christos Papadopoulos, Marcos Morau, Crystal Pite and Alexander Ekman. In January, we also shared a special featuring ten archive works from the oeuvre of Hans van Manen.
