Pite is associate choreographer with NDT since season 2008-2009. This season NDT 1 resumes Solo Echo (2012) in Program II (premiere December 5). For this company she created the following pieces: Pilot X (2005), The Second Person (2007), Frontier (2008), Plot Point (2010) and recently Parade (2013). For Plot Point Pite was nominated for the prestigious dance award Benois de la Danse.
In 2001 Pite founded her own company Kidd Pivot. They perform in Canada and abroad with productions such as The Tempest Replica (2011), The You Show (2010), Dark Matters (2009), Fault (2008), Lost Action (2006), Uncollected Work (2002) and Double Story (2004) - created with Richard Siegal. Pite is also an associate dance artist at Canada's National Arts Centre.
From 1988 to 2001 Pite was part of the Ballet British Columbia in Vancouver and Ballett Frankfurt. She also created work for the Cullberg Ballet, Cedar Lake, Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal (where she was resident choreographer from 2001 to 2004), Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, Ballet British Columbia, Alberta Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada and various freelance artists (recently Louise Lecavalier).
