Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) is an international and leading contemporary dance company with two dance groups, NDT 1 and NDT 2. Young, talented dancers at the beginning of their dance career dance with NDT 2 (dancers aged between 17 and 23) and dancers in full bloom at NDT 1 (dancers aged 24 and older). Both companies give performances both at home and abroad. The home base is Amare in The Hague.

We are a house for creation. Behind the scenes, around seventy dedicated staff work to perfect the performances, educational activities and the dance experience of audiences and participants. From lighting and sound design, costumes, production and technology, marketing to HR and finance. Committed to diverse ideas and approaches to dance, we continuously collaborate with both emerging and established choreographers and artists from different backgrounds from all over the world.

Development, research and innovation are very important to us. We want to be socially meaningful with everything we do. It is just as important that everyone can be themselves with us and can develop and flourish in a safe and inspiring environment. Our ultimate goal is to connect anyone anywhere in the world through dance.
