PBO (Public Benefit Organization)

Stichting Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) holds the so called ANBI-status. An ANBI is a Public Benefit Organization (PBO). To be designated as a cultural ANBI, at least 90% of the organization’s activities must be of a cultural nature. Donors to cultural ANBIs receive additional tax benefits, as special gift deduction rules apply. Individuals are allowed to multiply their donation to a cultural ANBI by 1.25 when declaring it on their income tax return and deduct that amount as a charitable gift. Companies subject to corporate income tax may deduct 1.5 times the donation amount on their corporate tax return. For NDT supporters, this ANBI status provides tax advantages in income tax, corporate tax, and inheritance tax.

For NDT supporters, this ANBI status provides tax advantages in income tax, corporate tax, and inheritance tax.

Tax Benefits

For a recurring donation, there is no minimum or maximum threshold, but certain conditions must be met:
You must donate the same amount annually for at least five years, and the donation must be recorded in a donation agreement. This can be arranged without a notary.

If you prefer to formalize your recurring donation through a notarial deed, you can download the authorization form here. For donations of €250 or more, NDT will cover the notary fees.
