“These two photos represent a journey – one at the beginning and the other towards the end and start of a transition. Looking back, it feels like two consecutive seconds, though so much took place between these fleeting moments. There was an incredible journey where I was not only able to develop as an artist, connecting with great audiences around the world, but also as a human being. I discovered and cultivated the power of sensitivity, curiosity, determination, honesty, humility, and generosity, and did none of this on my own. I was guided and inspired by remarkable mentors and colleagues that reside in so many memories from the last 18 years with this company. Today, it is with great respect, pride, and enthusiasm that I try to inspire these same values in the young artists who will continue shaping the heart and soul of this company, as well as many others around the world. These values have been, from my perspective, the core and essence of this great house during its 60 years of existence.”
