Born in France, Cyril Baldy studied ballet in Paris at The Conservatoire National Supérieur. As a dancer he worked with the Jeune Ballet de France, NederlandsDans Theater (NDT 2 and NDT 1) and Frankfurt Ballet before The Forsythe Company from 2005 to 2014. Since 2014, along side teaching internationally, he primarily choreographs, teaches and stages William Forsythe’s repertoire.
The Edge of Things
We kick off the season with The Edge of Things by NDT 2. With two world premieres and the revival of Alexander Ekman’s beloved, humorous and absurdist FIT (2018).
RESONANCE livestream
On 10 and 11 October, you can watch RESONANCE, NDT 1’s first programme of the season, live streamed from your living room. Experience Jiří Kylián’s Mémoires d’Oubliettes (2009) up close, sit in the middle of Crystal Pite’s satirical boardroom drama The Statement (2016), and be moved by Marco Goecke’s emotional Woke up Blind (2016).
