Meng-Ke Wu was born in Taichung on July 2, 1987. After her education at the Taipei National University of the Arts from 2004 – 2009 she joined Tanztheater München where she danced until joining NDT 2 in August of 2010.
In July 2013 she was appointed a position in the first company, NDT 1. In 2010, Wu received the Tanz und Publikumpreis (Dance and audience award) for her creation SHE during the Internationales Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival (International Solo Dance and Theater Festival) in Stuttgart, Germany.
